We need to dig deeper to decide the amount that works for the workers & the businesses, and the amount of time needed to implement the increase. We need to establish a higher minimum wage, and I am not sure that for Delaware $15.00 per hour is the correct number. | |||

| During a health crises, I think everyone is being impacted differently. Companies with big profits should be taking care of the paid leave for their employees. However, for businesses struggling to survive, the government must step up to ensure their their employees receive paid medical leave. | |||

| As we look at this year's budget situation due to the on going COVID crisis - I have one major priority: to ensure State services, which many people in Delaware utilize, are not impacted by loss of funding. Schools, health facilities, food programs, nonprofit funding, etc. will all still need to be funded during this economic downturn. We have to take care of neighbors today before we can discuss how to fund programs for tomorrow. | |||
